October Giveaway!!!

Thought I would change things up this month and do the giveaway before the download. So, in the interest of making this easy, all you have to do to enter is comment (here or facebook) to let me know you want to have your name put in the drawing. August Giveaway!!!

It's that time again. This month the giveaway is for a framed print. There are several to choose from. Check them out...

Ok, so here are the rules. Three ways to qualify. First is to "share" this on Facebook. That can be accomplished by the widget in the top right corner of this post. Another way to share is to copy and paste the address and then post it to your profile manually. Of course, if you were re-directed to this site from FB to start with, you can just cheat and share the link to your profile. All about making it easy here...

Option 2 is to become an email subcriber. This was by far the most popular option last giveaway that I ran. In the box to the side labeled "follow by email", enter your email address. They won't spam you or anything like that.
Option 3 is to become a follower of the blog. If you are new to blogging and not sure how to do it, email me (damoncorwine@gmail.com) and I will walk you through it.

In celebration of our continued growth and the milestones that we have reached (over 2000 hits and over 500 hits in one month), this month I am giving away a matted print. Pretty cool, huh?

In other news, I am excited that I have some new business cards on order. I have been procrastinating getting these done, but decided to go ahead and do it. It is a little easier to hand someone a card than to hunt for a pen and scratch paper... :-)

Also, I expect that I should reach 2,000 total hits this month (about 500 this month alone). I am at 1,989 right now, so any day now. Thanks for everyone's support. It couldn't have been done with out you. It has been continual growth from November to present. You guys are awesome! It has been a great start!

June Contest

For this month's give-away, I am going to do two 5 by 7 prints. The lucky winner will get both of them. The first will be of my Spring Redbud Tree. The other will be the Fall Leaf on the Path. As in past entrees, there will be three ways to enter. The first way is to share this link on Facebook. Another way is to use your google user name to become a follower. The final way is to subscibe via email. That can be done using the Follow by email box at the side of the page. Whichever way you choose, be sure to let me know by commenting below or emailing (damoncorwine@gmail.com).

Thanks for all of you that participated. I greatly enjoy these posts. I hope you do as well. I am working on a few pictures I took down by the river last night. There are a few sunset and a few Blue Heron. I hope to have them finished soon.

Free Download!!!

Hey guys! This is another one of the images from last night. I wanted to put it out there as a FREE DOWNLOAD! That's right. Just right click on the file above for a free full resolution copy of the picture. Just my way of saying thanks for sticking around. Copy it, print it, share it. It is yours to do with as you will. Just let me ask you this... Who loves ya, baby?!?!?

Just a quick note on the technical. This is a standard 4 by 6 format, so it will print in a 4x6 or 8x12 without any cutting or cropping. If you want a 5 by 7 or 8 by 10, you will lose some of the edges. Should be ready to roll for a desktop background though... If you choose to get it printed, I recommend using a reputable printer. Most Walmart or Walgreen's do a fine job for snapshots, but colors get a little wonky on jobs like this...

Work, Work, Work

Hey guys, so this week has been very busy. At my day job, we had corporate visitors. They came today, so that meant the whole week up till today was dedicated to making sure things go smoothly. On top of that, I have been training someone to fill in for me when I go on vacation. That brings us to this picture. Jennifer was working away while I was fiddling with my camera. I guess in my mind, having a camera in one's possession requires said one to take pictures... :-)   Darn...
