July Giveaway

In celebration of our continued growth and the milestones that we have reached (over 2000 hits and over 500 hits in one month), this month I am giving away a matted print. Pretty cool, huh?

This is one of my pictures from my recent trip to Pennsylvania. In order to enter the contest, you can share this on your Facebook page, become an email subsciber, or a follower of this blog. The link to share it is in the top right corner of this post.  The follow by email box is toward the muddle on the right side. No spam from signing up on that feature. I know because I am also a user. Email me if you have any questions (damoncorwine@gmail.com)

I will let this one run through the end of next week. At the end, I will assign everyone a number based on when they entered and then have one of my kids pick a random number to see who wins. Good luck to all. Can't wait to see how this one ends up

North Pier Light

This is an old lighthouse at Presque Isle just outside Erie, PA. The nieces and nephews took me there today to play on the beach. It is a pretty cool place.

Seeing the whole picture...

I normally look at the color in pictures. I like the bright, flashy lights, or the deep, rich hues. But if that was all that it took to make a cool picture, I would be content with color panels hanging all over my walls. So not the case...
In this picture, you see Pensacola Lighthouse silhouetted by the fading sunset. Light streams through the clouds, reaching back like fingers to desperately clasp the last moments of the fading day. The details make a difference...
