Been a while since I took any pictures. Figured I would force myself out today and see what shook loose. Hoping to generate some recurring inspiration here...

Bald River Falls
Hey guys. It has been a busy week at work. I know, I know... that is no excuse. Please accept my apologies and these humble pictures as a conciliatory offering...
I think the last one is my favorite. It is more saturated and has a peaceful feel to it. What do you think?

Bird Pictures
Still trying to process through pictures from my vacation. Here are some sea gulls that I saw at Lake Erie. I think the first one is my favorite, but I like the contrast of some of the others. What do you think?

Pymatuning Panorama Pictures
This is huge man-made lake on the Pennsylvania/Ohio border. It was built for flood control at the end of the Great Depression. We stopped there to feed the fish, so I took the opportunity to take some good ole' panos... Whatcha' think?

This is my least favorite of the day. Color is a bit off and it is leaning to the right. I guess if everyone just holds their head a little to the right... :-) |

This is a 4 shot image. I like it a little better than the top one. |

And here is my favorite. I like the colors in this one the best and I think it turned out the best as well. It is a massive 7 shot pano and covers 180 degree view of the lake. I like it a lot... |

Vacation day 2

First picture I have ever been "yelled at" for taking. I was so proud... |

I will avoid the obvious metaphor of time passing them by... oh wait... |

Historical bridge that my sister and bro in law got engaged on. Didn't have all the graffiti back then.... |

Outer look at the same bridge. The oldest covered wood bridge in Mercer County, PA |

July Free Download
So this month, I have a couple of different images to choose from. Both were taken on July 4th at sunrise. These are looking back toward the Oswald Dome and Hiwasee River area in Tennessee. Let me know what you think. If you like them, just right click on the image and select "Save as" to download the image.

Camping
Spent the night in the woods. It was a good time with friends. Here are a few that I have processed so far. There are quite a few more left to go through. Hope you like. I will be getting the rest of them as soon as possible.

Happy Memorial Day!
I would like to start this post by saying thank you to all the people who have ever served and the families of those that have served. This nation would not be free without your great sacrifice. In my family, I have a brother, some cousins, a grandfather, and a great-great uncle. They have my appreciation and respect. I have heard a soldier described as one who writes a check to the nation at a price up to and including their life. I don't know who originally said it, but it gives me chills to think about what that really means. Let me encourage all my readers to take the time to personally thank those who have served. I went out and took some pictures this morning. I hope to get them posted in the next couple of days.
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to go on "Nurse Jewitt's Nature Walk". I had a really good time. We went up Gee Creek and saw the water fall. It was a very relaxing time. It felt so peaceful. Much thanks to Carri and Andy for letting me tag along. Here are a few of the pictures that I took.
In my last post, I mentioned that I was moving. Just a quick update on that. I am moved, but not unpacked. There is not internet access at this point, so I will be posting from WiFi hotspots intermittently. Here is what the house looks like for those who are interested.
