October Giveaway!!!

Thought I would change things up this month and do the giveaway before the download. Ok, while that is all well and good, I know folks come here to see pictures. I will not disappoint! These are some shots that I took of the Florida state monument inside Chickamauga National Battlefield. Let me know what you think. I will probably have some deer pictures for the next time.

I think the last one is my favorite. It is more saturated and has a peaceful feel to it. What do you think?

Cherohala Skyway

I was pretty excited about visiting this section of highway. Between the name and online descriptions, I had envisioned sweeping vistas and amazing picture opportunities. I was disappointed...

It was a beautiful drive and, later on, it will  have beautiful fall colors. However, the overlooks were cluttered by brush and trees. The sky was amazing, but the foreground was drab and boring. Here is the best of what I was able to see. All in all, I would say go ahead and take the drive. Just don't bother stopping at any of the overlooks. They are not worth it...
